Bay-Tech NDT & Engineering Services

Bay-Tech is unique in its ability to tackle projects engineering challenges on land, shore and at sea. Expertise in naval architecture and marine engineering is our heritage. Bay-Tech has earned its reputation across the industry for highly engineered and cost-effective design with timely delivery. And continue to serve naval architecture services to clients like Bashundhara group (one of the largest business conglomerates in Bangladesh, Seven Ring Cement, BIWTA (Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority) and many others. But beyond our skill in naval architecture, we offer a broad range of expertise that includes structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering; engineering simulation & analysis; marine and facilities construction management; transportation planning and marine research. Browse through our projects and see how Bay-Tech can help solve your design challenges!

VISUAL INSPECTION (VT)

Visual Inspection (VI) is a fundamental non-destructive testing (NDT) method that involves examining the surface of a material or component for defects using the human eye or optical instruments. Vt can be applied everywhere, including object with elevated temperature. Potential users are weld workshops and assembly workplaces.

DYE PENETRANT TEST (DPT)

It also called liquid penetrate inspection (LPI) or penetrant testing (PT), is a widely applied and low-cost inspection method used to check surface-breaking defects in all non-porous materials (metals, plastics, or ceramics). The penetrant may be applied to all non-ferrous materials and ferrous materials, although for ferrous components magnetic-particle inspection is often used instead for its subsurface detection capability.

Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)

Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) is a non-destructive testing (NDT) method used to detect surface and near-surface defects in ferromagnetic materials, such as iron, nickel, cobalt, and their alloys.

Ultrasonic Test (UT)

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is a non-destructive testing (NDT) method that uses high-frequency sound waves to detect internal flaws or characterize materials.
